As practitioners are aware, being overweight is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease, reproductive organ cancers, and other cancers, type 2 diabetes, and many other ailments. It is a major contributing factor to premature morbidity and mortality. For many people who are overweight, their self-esteem is adversely affected and their quality of life is compromised. As such, many overweight individuals desperately looking for help to lose extra pounds and reclaim their body and their life. For many years Dr. Meschino ran a successful weight management program at Toronto’s Columbus Center.  In this course, he teaches you the exact step-by-step program that earned him a high success rate with patients and a continuous flow of new patients seeking the help of his proven weight management coaching program.

  Learning Objectives:

  1. The student will be armed with proven marketing tools and have the ability to execute the promotion of a weight management program to their community to generate new clients and referrals.
  2. The student will have the skills to conduct an intake consultation and initial exam on a weight management patient
  3. The student will have the skills necessary to explain the science behind the weight management program to the client in simple language to enlist their trust and support.
  4. The student will have the skills to explain to the patient The Two Staple Nutrition System and related food preparation guide and shopping list.
  5. The student will have the skills to deliver the weekly educational segments to the patient and provide related client action steps
  6. The student will have the skills to provide weekly feedback and patient monitoring.
  7. The student will have the skills to perform the monthly re-evaluation and provide patient feedback
  8. The student will have the skill necessary to build a weight management maintenance practice.
