North Carolina Chiropractic Continuing Education Requirements
Your Requirements: Licensed DC’s in North Carolina are required to complete (2) days, defined as (18) hours, of approved Continuing Education each calendar year to keep their license active and good standing per N.C.G.S. 90-155 and NCAC Rule 10.0205 (c).
DC’s can meet this requirement with (18) hours of classroom study or you can substitute classroom study as follows:
A minimum of (10) hours of classroom study,
A maximum of (8) hours of online study, and/or
A maximum of (2) professional development (self reported hours) – defined as reading peer-reviewed professional journal(s) and visiting vendor displays at professional conventions to become familiar and learn about trends in treatment technologies and new products. To receive Annual CE hour credit, you must submit the hours on your annual renewal form to the Board office that details your hours.
Distance Learning Allowed: Max 8 hours each calendar year.
